Pets and their owners…
A hilarious mashup of sorts. Are pets like their owners, or is it the other way around? :-)
@ZachDriftwood’s #Petheadz
Some say pets look like their owners, but one Canadian photographer has taken it to a new and creative extreme. In his series, #petheadz, Zachary Rose (@zachdriftwood) takes DSLR portraits of people’s pets and mashes them up with portraits of their owners by cleverly holding the camera in the foreground.
The series started as an exercise in creativity with his two roommates but quickly caught on. To date, Zach has taken 18 #petheadz portraits of people all over Toronto. (His mom even posed for a photo with her German shepherd.) The project is still on-going with a lengthy wait-list, and Zach is excited to continue meeting people—and pets—around the city as he keeps shooting.

Oldie but goodie of the day: Whodunnit?
The description for this brilliant video reads: “Test your Awareness with Do The Test’s Whodunnit. Who Killed Lord Smithe? How observant are you? How did you do?”
Let’s keep it at that for now. Trust us, watch the video, it will blow your mind!
The alphabet for digital hipsters (and their kids). So I guess T is for Tumblr then?
This is a funny illustration project by Emma Cook. These flash cards help designers, nerds, geeks or simply hipsters to teach their children the alphabet with the most important gadgets, tools and items in life.

Fame in the digital age
MINERAL GONE VIRAL
It’s viral, it’s contageous, and it’s probably the most bizarre mineral water ad to date.
The original version is in Lithuanian, but due to its popularity English version was released as well (almost 2 million views on Youtube).
The video is a fast-paced collage of (mostly) still images and sound. It has this tongue-in-a-cheek feel, which is emphasized by its amateur format, tempo, and all those hilarious things that the narrator tells. Its simplicity and in-your-face humor, which aren’t particularly common in mineral water ads, definitely make this video stand out from the crowd.
A Conversation With My 12 Year Old Self
This is just great. 12 year old boy records a video to himself in the future. 20 years later, this is the hilarious conversation that ensues…
Who knew the magic of VHS would come in handy in de digital age?
ERU - Guerrilla Stunt at Presentation New Product and Ad Campaign
How to create some buzz and excitement around the presentation of Dutch cream cheese brand ERU? We decided to pull a small hoax at the Libelle Zomerweek festival (an event for women), together with celebrity Renate Verbaan.
It was announced in several media beforehand that Renate would reveal her ‘Beauty Secret’. The audience was then invited to participate in a scientific study for beauty creams. Judging three products for viscosity, aroma, ability to rub in the skin, etc. Not knowing that one of the beauty creams was in fact the new cream cheese: ERU Balance. When asked to taste the products, confusion and hilarity ensued…
The end message, however, was quite clear: Eating healthy means looking beautiful. ERU Balance is Renate Verbaan’s true beauty secret.
The video was spread online through several social media channels, reaching many women within the target group and creating a positive buzz around the ERU brand and their new ‘beauty’ product.
