Horrorwinter

Stiekem best grappig.

The past months, the Dutch Road Service was prepared for what meteorologists predicted would be “a horror winter”. On the first day of Daylight Savings Time (or: Summer Time), we look back at the service’s toughest season of the year.

We created a short film with Kees as main character, a road service man at heart, who stays hopeful for a cold front till the very end…

Pretty funny if you ask us. ;-)

Kids kick off Change for Good campaign to help UNICEF

Check out the cute and rather funny event we set up at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport to kick off the special easyJet/UNICEF campaign: passengers can donate their spare change on board all flights this summer. Did you know: only 1 euro can vaccinate 2 children against a deadly disease, such as measles!

"Smile, you’re on candid camera!"

Laughing Buddha viral and social media campaign for Rituals Cosmetics

Rituals Cosmetics’ new Laughing Buddha collection is all about sharing happiness:

“When you smile to the world, the world smiles back”

We reinvented this old ritual for the 21st century, by creating a hilarious viral video to kick off a campaign to share your smile. The result was a hugely positive audience engagement, over 1.5 million views for the video (and counting!), thousands of #whatmakesyousmile photos uploaded, over 25.000 new Facebook fans and a media frenzy surrounding the launch.

Watch the video we made for Rituals' Laughing Buddha collection and try not to laugh!

Pets and their owners…
A hilarious mashup of sorts. Are pets like their owners, or is it the other way around? :-)

@ZachDriftwood’s #Petheadz
Some say pets look like their owners, but one Canadian photographer has taken it to a new and creative extreme. In his series, #petheadz, Zachary Rose (@zachdriftwood) takes DSLR portraits of people’s pets and mashes them up with portraits of their owners by cleverly holding the camera in the foreground.
The series started as an exercise in creativity with his two roommates but quickly caught on. To date, Zach has taken 18 #petheadz portraits of people all over Toronto. (His mom even posed for a photo with her German shepherd.) The project is still on-going with a lengthy wait-list, and Zach is excited to continue meeting people—and pets—around the city as he keeps shooting.

    MINERAL GONE VIRAL

It’s viral, it’s contageous, and it’s probably the most bizarre mineral water ad to date.

The original version is in Lithuanian, but due to its popularity English version was released as well (almost 2 million views on Youtube).
The video is a fast-paced collage of (mostly) still images and sound. It has this tongue-in-a-cheek feel, which is emphasized by its amateur format, tempo, and all those hilarious things that the narrator tells. Its simplicity and in-your-face humor, which aren’t particularly common in mineral water ads, definitely make this video stand out from the crowd.
